  • Is quality important with essential oils?
    In aromatherapy it is vital that only the very finest quality pure essential oils are used at all times. Cheaper, inferior quality essential oils deliver unpredictable or results. This is typically because the essential oil has been adulterated with a synthetic chemical component, or perhaps because it is entirely synthetic. Synthetic or adulterated oils contain little or no therapeutic qualities and generally do not work in aromatherapy.   • Are essential oils safe to ingest?
    Essential oils should not be taken orally unless under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • What is a carrier oil?
    A carrier oil is an oil that is used as a base to dilute essential oils before they are applied to the skin.
  • What is topical application?
    Topical application is applying essential oils to the skin. They should always be diluted with a carrier oil such as Fractionated Coconut Oil. It is advisable to perform a patch test before applying the oil to a larger area of your skin.
  • What is Fractionated Coconut Oil?
    Fractionated Coconut Oil is an odourless natural career oil that is completely soluble with essential oils, it is easily absorbed into the skin without clogging the pores.
  • How does an aroma diffuser work?
    Fill the tank with water and either a single oil or one of our blends. When you turn it on, ultrasonic waves are created that break the oil up into microscopic particles. The fine mist released into the air allows it to be easily breathed in.
  • How many drops of essential oil should I put in my diffuser?
    Generally 3-4 drops in total of essential oil to a volume of 100ml of water. If your diffuser has a volume of 200ml, you can use 5-9 drops.
  • How often can I apply my roller?
    Approximately 3-4 times a day, dpending on the requirement, check label directions.
  • What precautions should I take when using essential oils?
    Essential oils are a natural remedy, however they are very potent, below are some precautions to consider: Do a skin test before using essential oils topically. In case of skin irritation, stop using the oil. Keep them out of your eyes and inner ears. Use only high-quality oils that you know are pure.
